The first academic psychedelic training program in Canada!

In 2019, Drs. Anne Vallely and Monnica Williams started an interdisciplinary graduate microprogram housed within the School of Arts at the University of Ottawa. This program features an examination of the therapeutic, spiritual, and ritual uses of entheogens and psychedelics cross-culturally and throughout human history. Each course is offered at the graduate and undergraduate level. Students who pass all three courses at the graduate level will receive a certificate in Psychedelics & Spirituality Studies. A new microprogram in Psychedelic Science through the School of Psychology is launching soon.

Check out this program Dr. Williams is teaching with Chacruna Institute! A pre-requisite for the forthcoming MA in Psychedelics is a graduate level course in Multicultural Counseling, and this course will fill that prerequisite.
